The Safari 110’s, named after the Leica R3 Safari seem to be standard 110’s taken off the production line for a paint job. The serial numbers are not unique to the Safari. Unless anyone has any other information, it seems that this model was not commercially available but used as presentation gifts. No information has been found on quantities made or how they were distributed. |
