The Aluminum cases came as optional extras and the foam insert from the Complete set used as the case insert. Unfortunately, many owners decided that the foam inserts needed some modifications so quite often they are cut in some way. Inserts came in red, white and blue.

Three types of cases have been seen, plain silver with logo, plain silver without logo, and the PENTAX cloth finish.
